Installation of Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4169 in 2014 Chrysler Town and Country

Question:

The reviews are not clear. Nor are the pictures. Do the upper air bags ride against the upper joust bumper or is there a supplied part to cusion the bag and air line connection from ware and tear. some reviews say they mounted the bags upside down intentionally.

The Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4169 that you referenced are indeed a correct fit for the rear coils springs in your 2014 Chrysler Town and Country minivan. Installation requires you to pull off the stock jounce bumpers and drill a 7/16-inch hole in the jounce bumper mount.

The written installation instructions for this kit have been sent to you in a separate email. These indicate to install the bag with the inflation valve at the top, and then to insert the included protector, but my contact at Firestone did confirm that the air bag can be installed with the valve at the bottom if that males for an easier installation.
