Question:
Looking at your Air Lift and Firestone Air Helper Spring for 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan. I looked at my coil springs and there is some kind of a yellow rubber? inside the coil spring. I imagine it keeps the suspension from bottoming out. Do these need to be removed? How do you get them out?

Expert Reply:
The yellow rubber inside the coil spring on your 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan is a jounce bumper. The jounce bumper is removed to install both the Air Lift # AL60814 and the Firestone # F4169 air helper springs.
To remove the jounce bumper, you will pull the bumper out at an angle. You can remove the jounce bumper before or after you drill the grommet for your air line.
I have attached the installation video of Air Lift Vehicle Suspension # AL60814 on a 2010 Grand Caravan for you.
