2015 Toyota Highlander XLE Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation

I just purchased a 2015 Toyota Highlander XLE. According to the sales rep for Toyota, the Highlander XLE comes standard with the towing package. I plugged in the 56042 wiring harness vehicles with tow package in the back of the toyota but there is no 12v at the 4-flat connector. I put a 30 amp fuse in the tow package fuse location under the front hood but no 12v. What am I missing?

The Curt Harness part # 56042 that you referenced is designed as a replacement harness for vehicles like your 2015 Toyota Highlander that came with a factory 4-way. Although Toyota said you have the factory tow package it sounds like you are missing the necessary under dash converter.
This is a Toyota part that they might be able to set you up with, but we don't carry it.
The best solution I can recommend for you would be to get the part # C56217.
