If you look under the dash of your 2014 GMC Savana 4500 RV cutaway there should be a wire bundle held together with white tape. The bundle should be located under the left side of the instrument panel and to the left of the steering column. The wires can be identified by a white label and the color of the wires. The wire colors are (1) Red/Black wire, (1) White wire, (1) Light Blue/White wire and (1) Dark Blue wire and possibly (1) Orange wire.
You will hardwire in the controller as follows:
Van Red/Black to brake controller Black for 12 volt power
Van White to brake controller white for ground
Van Light Blue/White to brake controller red for brake light signal
Van Dark Blue to brake controller blue for brake output to trailer
Van Orange is not used
I attached an FAQ article to the right that covers this as well.
If all else fails you can always install the brake controller by hardwiring it to your vehicle. Check out the FAQ article I attached to the right on installing a brake controller from scratch for how to do this.
