Parts Recommendation to Install a Brake Controller in a 2005 Chevy Express 3500 Van

Looking into installing a break controller on 2005 Chevrolet Express 3500 passenger van. I dont believe the van has brake controller wiring is this something I can do on my own? Thanks

Yes, as long as you have a basic understanding of how wiring works and have basic mechanical skills you could install a brake controller in your 2005 Chevy Express Van.
Since you do not have a trailer connector you will want to first start with a 4-way. For that you will want part # 118392.
Now to convert the 4-way to a 7-way and install a brake controller you will need the part # ETBC7. This comes with everything needed except for the brake controller. Check out the install video and instructions I attached.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
