These towing mirrors are designed to seamlessly fit the contours of your factory side-view mirrors. Each one includes felt padding inside the housing that protects the factory mirror body from scratches and scuffs. Installation is a snap - just slide the towing mirror over your OEM mirror and insert the provided arm and hand knob through the back of the mirror housing. Then hook the arm around the inside edge of your OEM mirror. Finally, tighten the hand knob to secure the towing mirror in place.

Mirror extensions for my 2007 Chevy E3500 van.
Really like the mirrors.
Little plastic hook bolt did not fit correctly and was way too fragile to be reliable.

They fit perfectly on my mirrors. The width is just perfect, I barely have to bring my mirrors in. I haven’t taken them off in a year and they’ve been great
The product is fine (slide on trailer mirrors). It was the shipping that was disappointing. I took this pic before opening it. Thankfully everything inside was OK.
These mirrors are awesome. They fit perfectly and I can now see around my camper. I initially purchased some from [online store] and sent them back due to poor quality and fit. These mirrors look like they are part of the van and look great. They have no vibration problems and are easy to adjust. I did put two stainless steel screws on the back of them to deter theft in case somebody liked them as much as I do.
2004 Express 3500 Conversion YF7 build code factory build date 12-2003. These mirrors fit my 2004 3500 Extended Conversion. My Conversion YF7 Classic came with the exact mirrors shown on this site. Dealership said the factory could installed different mirrors depending on suppliers. Some where on this site it says they do not fit <2006 3500 Express. The only thing is the retention Jay Hook. It is plastic and as we know plastic become brittle for heat, cold and UV light. Only time will tell if they break.
One of the knurled nuts had bad threads. Luckily, I had a tap the correct size & was able to chase the threads. PITA the reason for the rating. Lack of QC = below average.
2024 Chevy Express. They do fit. We will see this coming weekend how they do in service.
The mirrors fit exactly as expected and installed easily in five minutes.
The Longview mirrors were a nice, affordable option for a new travel trailer owner. They mounted with ease, and they have good line-of-sight with the two included mirrors, although the outside mirror needs readjusting more often than the inside. My only negative comment is that the long bolt that hooks onto the van mirror that holds the whole assembly, is made of plastic. So the one part that is subjected to the most torque and stress is the weakest, but that seems to be pretty much anything these days. I had to order a new set of bolts to keep using them, and fortunately, the mirror stayed on when I noticed the broken piece on the street in front of the house.
DO NOT BUY! These are absolute garbage. The very first time I used them the driver side broke, and the passenger won’t stay where you leave set it. Hard to install as well. Would not recommend at all.
A little bit shaky on the highway
The mirrors went on straight forward with no problems. These will make towing our camper much easier, also in backing into campsites. I like how they look like factory. Thank you for a good product that works well.
Purchased the LVT-1700 mirrors for my 2008 Express Van to haul our Travel Trailer. Great alternative to mounting large bracketed mirrors on our Daily driver. Easily installed and removed. Great Product! I have purchased a couple of products from etrailer and have been well satisfied with the Quality and most importantly their Great Customer Service.
Junk Not worth the money
When driving driving on the road the mirrors move out of adjustment.
Excellent fit and quality, can't wait to use them with my camper.

The drivers side is working out but the passenger side mirror will move on rough roads. I had to put some soft plastic to keep it in place

I used these mirrors while towing my travel trailer for two months last winter and they have worked great. They allow me to see around my trailer while towing and backing my trailer into camp sites.

After 2 years the mirror extensions are still working great and looking great.
My reason for 3 stars is the mirrors were (1) a little bit difficult to install with the provided plastic hook and nut system as the shank of the threaded portion doesn't line up squarely to the hole on the other half of the mirror body. It didn't feel like it would hold on as it it seemed it had to be cross threaded to engage the nut to bolt. Having said that I manage to get it to work and it held on for 10,000 Kilometers.
(2) The mirror on the passenger side always moved and had to be reset quite often.
Overall the construction and material were of good quality and the fit to my existing mirror was perfect. They did vibrate a little but were still useful on my journey across the country. Installed on a 2004 Chevy express 3500 cargo van.
Purchased these to tow a rented travel trailer. They attached securely and provided just enough extra width to see down the sides of the trailer. Mine have 1000 miles on them, no issues.

Once modified slightly, these mirrors work great. For our Chevy Express Van, the collar and hole for the cinching nut needed to be adjusted so the threads on the tightening clip don't have a 20-30 degree side stress on them at the nut. Other than that, they're very good mirrors with little or no vibration while driving. The face of the collar had to be beveled and the hole slotted to allow the nut to angle off correctly. The photos show after modification. etrailer has submitted the photos to the manufacturer for consideration. What easy folks to work with at etrailer.com.
Was very impressed by the good fitment of the tow mirrors for my Chevy Express van.
Overall the fit is marginal at best. They feel a bit loose although they do stay put while driving. More problematic are the plastic J Bolts. Both are poorly cast and difficult to start the nuts. I had to run a tap and die through one bolt/nut. The alignment is poor resulting in the nut being at a very big angle to the slip on mirror. Minor vibration but no more than expected based on design, price and reviews. Better than not having them but not sure how long they will last or if the nuts/bolts will fail (resulting in the mirror bouncing down the road). May look for a metal J bolt and nut.
Right hand mirror seems loose and doesnt hold adjustment. Is there any way I can tighten that up?

There is not a way to make it tighter, Michael. Did you try removing it and putting it back on to make sure it is fully seated? Can you confirm your year, make, and model? I would like to reach out to the manufacturer about this one, just need to verify first.
I have universal extension mirrors, but they are noisy and difficult to install. I read reviews before getting these mirrors and was a bit concerned about installation. My answer to that is "read the instructions ". Although the mirrors don't say which side they are for as the instructions indicate. But if you put them on right, they are easy to install. We pulled our 36' camper on the interstate and the mirrors were silent! Visibility was good, we feel quite safe with these on our 2016 Chevrolet Express. Thanks.

We travel all the time and the mirrors stay on the van more than they are off. Still good visibility and quiet. Plastic bolts, just be careful and don’t over tighten them. If you don’t cross thread they work fine.
Works good. Let me see around my travel trailer. This is my second set of mirrors. The first set last 5–6 years.
Install was easy, don't know why some people gave negative reviews couldn't have been easier 10 minutes both were installed, let's not forget the ease of ordering from e-trailer and the follow up to make sure you are satisfied, this is not my first order from them and will not be my last, thank you Noah for the follow up
The mirror is perfect. It fits exactly well. And it looks good. It blends in as though it was from the factory. However the plastic knob and J bolt are a problem. There is no brass insert in the plastic knob when threading in the J bolt, which also is plastic you must first put a little bit of silicone grease or something on it otherwise it threads in a little bit and breaks right off. Thank you for each Trailer, for sending me a replacement set. You have to be gentle with that J bolt and don't sock it down.
