has all towing fuses but cannot find the conector

The electric brake control harness on your 2011 Toyota Tacoma will be located underneath the drivers side dash to the left of the steering column. It should be taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal. It will be a 5-pin connector.
I have attached a photo showing the location of this harness as well as the installation instructions for the Plug-In Adapter from Tekonsha, # 3040-P, for you to check out.
