Hello, I currently just purchased a 2015 2500hd GMC Sierra, double cab with a 6.5ft box, and I have an existing Husky 16k fifth wheel hitch that I am removing from a 2008 chevy silverado. I am looking for the hardware kit to install this in the new 2015. I seen three options, but I am not sure which on is the correct one or will they all work. You are correct, there are 3 available custom fifth wheel rail kits that will fit your 2015 GMC Sierra 2500.

The Curt Kit part # C16411-204
The Reese Outboard Rail Kit part # RP56001-53
The Reese Inboard Rail Kit part # RP50066-58

The good news is all of them will work with your Husky 16k hitch so you have plenty of options.

The easiest to install would be the Outboard Reese kit part # RP56001-53, only downside is the rails are taller and would take up more room in your truck bed.

The Curt and the Reese inboard rail kit will be basically the same thing. Install will be a bit longer than an outboard kit but the rails will be smaller and shorter.

Since you have a short bed I hope your Husky Hitch is a slider hitch so that you can make tighter turns. If not, then you would also want the Husky 10 Composite Slider for Silver Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # HT32042 as well.
