This product is very well-made and the instructions were very well and easy for me to follow to put it in I received my order at noon today and had it in by 5 o’clock done if someone was to order that they would be very pleased with it it works very well and it looks very good once you’re done. We ordered the curt 16411-104 custom rail install kit for our 2015 GMC 2500. It shipped very quickly.The directions were easy to follow, and it fit perfectly,but putting the nuts on the bottom under the bed to secure everything was tough, you definitely need a 3/4 inch ratcheting box wrench, and a 3/4 inch crows foot to torque things down, or pay a professional to do it! Took us about four hours. The B&W 3200 that we ordered from Etrailer worked perfectly.

You are cutting it close but the 2,550 hitch weight for the camper exceeds the 2,490 lb max tongue weight limit for your truck. Like I said you are cutting it close so it MIGHT be fine, but I cannot in good conscience recommend towing a trailer that knowingly exceeds your trucks listed towing capacities. There unfortunately isn't a custom-fit base rail kit or gooseneck hitch option confirmed to fit your 1984 Chevy C20. You'd have to go with a universal kit like the curt # C16200 and then use an adapter like the Curt Spyder # 16085 to connect to your gooseneck trailer.
