Thanks for the information Paul. If your 2002 F-350 is the truck model that came from the factory with a standard bed, I recommend the Curt Hitch item # C15410. If your truck's frame rails measure 37-1/2" from the outside of the rails this is the hitch you'll need. The top of the hitch's crossbeam will sit 5.32” below the point where the hitch bolts to the frame.
If your 2002 F-350 is a cab and chassis model that came with no bed, I recommend the Curt Hitch item # C15445. Cab and chassis frames are more narrow. This hitch will fit if your frame measures 34" wide from the outside of the frame rails. The top of the hitch's crossbeam will sit 5-1/2” below the point where the hitch bolts to the frame.
Both the Curt item # C15410 hitch for a standard F-350 and the Curt item # C15445 for a cab and chassis model are class V hitches with a 2" receiver. They have a 17,000 lbs towing capacity and a maximum tongue weight of 2,550 lbs.
I highly recommend taking those measurements and confirming how wide your frame is and if you have enough clearance below your frame so the new hitch will work with your after market flatbed.
What kind of flatbed do you have and what do you plan on pulling with your new hitch? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.

Hitch fit perfectly on my 1999 Ford F350, F450 spring pack, tune upgrade along with upgrade on turbo & Injectors, I'm towing 20 K no problem, great hitch choice.

I am not sure how the truck came from the factory. We got is used and it ahs what appears to be a home made bed. Do you have specs on how much drop there is from the mount point to the top of the hitch? We need to clear a spare tire too. Can I attache images for your reference?
