Not yet installed, but It appears to be better than the original that came with trailer. Stouter, better moulding. The old one was starting to crack and interior wires showing. This should fix the problem nicely!

The delivery was reasonably fast. The service tech, Nicolas C., with whom I talked and placed the order was very knowledgeable and pleasant.
The cable is for a 5th wheel travel trailer to a 3/4 ton pickup needed to replace the factory one-foot too short cable with a connector whose female metal connections had lost their temper and thus valid connections to distribute voltage and current from the truck to the brakes, batteries, and refrigerator.
The new cable seems to have solved the problem.
The etrailer site had good wiring diagrams and installing instruction for many types of trailers.

The quality and the design of the cable is excellent - the only problem I encountered with it was the color coding of the wires. First, I ordered the RV version which means that the wires are supposed to be located at specific points in the plug and I found that they were not in agreement with what etrailer's connection scheme said that they would be.
Whatever was the case, I am working on a utility trailer and my vehicle is wired as a utility trailer would be because that is what I use it for. It mystifies me that there is a difference between RV and utility trailers because anyone who uses a trailer does not want to have multiple hookups when it is totally unnecessary.
Be that as it may, I found that to use the RV connector cable, I had to exchange the white and the blue wires, the red and the yellow wires, and the brown and the green wires in the box relative to the trailer wiring. This means that the yellow wire of the cable is connected to the center pin of the connector for auxiliary power (in my case). The red wire is the left side signal and brake light (trailer yellow). The blue wire is connected to the ground wire on the vehicle (trailer white). The white wire is connected to the brake controller (trailer blue). The brown wire is the right side signal and brake light (trailer green). The green wire is the tail lights (trailer brown). When I did this swap, all of the items matched the connector on my vehicle and everything works. I have not actually tested the brakes yet, but that is coming.
The cord is of good quality and is working well. The reason for 3 stars is that the wire color to Pin location don't match the standards I have printed even ones I got with the car connector from etrailer. I just used an ohm meter to confirm which color wire connected to each pin before connecting to the trailer.
Ordering and shipping on time was great. easy installment. Only draw back is the longer I pull my trailer the more the brakes apply pressure and I have to make adjustments to keep brakes from locking up. But I would and suggest buying to a friend.
Purchased this to upgrade the connection between my trailer and my truck. This cable has remained flexible and provided the length I wanted to be able to connect without hitching.
This cord was a good length to replace the damaged cord on our travel trailer. It has a sealed plug connection thus eliminating the need to attach and maintain the RV-style plug on the end of the cable. This was an easy replacement.
I bought this to replace the worn out connector on my RV. I was happy to see that the white, black and blue wires were of a heavier gage than the other four wires since that is how the original cable on my RV is. The package arrived sooner than I expected. This will be much better than if I had just replaced the connector. No more worries if my trailer turn signals are working!
My old cord had 16 gauge wire for the brakes , This took care of my week trailer brakes.

This was an exact match to the wiring of my 2009 forest river 27' salem toy hauler. I purchased the 10' cable which is 2' longer than the stock cable. I did that so I would have extra cable to add a new end to if I have troubles later on. The Product works perfectly after installation . My reason for the replacement was a failure of the stock plug end. No complaints about the stock one. It lasted 10 years which I believe is a good life span for any plug. This plug seems like with proper care and corrosion protection it should have a long life as well.

Works. Real tough to install. Terminal ends must be cut at exactly the correct length to fit in the junction box. Colors all matched up fine.
