Comparing Draw-Tite and Curt Trailer Hitches for the 2013 Toyota Tundra
Question:
The toyota oem part is a different part number between the steel bumper install and the resin bumper install. Are the class IV Curt and Drawtite the same partnembers between bumper types? If not waht would be the resin bumber PNs? Also as folks that deal with these things day in day out could you summarize what the differences are between the Curt and Drawtite besides price ?

The Curt and Draw-Tite trailer hitches for yoru 2013 Toyota Tundra will be the same part numbers no matter which bumper type you have on your truck.
Curt hitch # C15398 is actually a Class V hitch. There is no Draw-Tite Class V option but the Class IV is # 41935. The Curt hitch is rated much higher at 2,400 pounds tongue weight and 16,000 pounds gross trailer weight which likely exceeds the vehicle's capacities (conuslt owners manual for your trucks capacities). The Draw-Tite hitch is rated for 1200/12,000 pounds.
The finish/powder coating on the Curt hitch is considered by some to be better than that on the Draw-Tite hitches. And on the Draw-Tite hitch the ends of the cross tube are open whereas on the Curt hitch they are covered. But in either case the powder coating is supposed to reach the insides of the cross tube as well.
