Which MORryde Shackle To Go With When Replacing 2-3/4" Shackles On A Forest River Travel Trailer

looking for duel axle 2 3/4 shackle up grade kit. I cant seem to find them or do i need to change shakle length? 3500 lb axles on a forest river travel trailer. was looking for morryde brand.

Hi Steven!
I see you already placed an order, but I still wanted to get you an answer. So here it goes.
MORryde currently only makes their shackle kits in 3-1/8" (the # MR76ZR) and 2-1/4" (the # MR46ZR) on center. With your current shackles measuring 2-3/4", you went the right way going a little longer. Shorter would have restricted movement and caused issues, whereas a little too long will mean your suspension system just has a bit more room to move. Too long can cause issues as well, but 1/2" longer than what you currently have isn't going to hurt anything at all.
Do you have a trip planned once you get the suspension upgraded? If so, where you headed?
