Worn suspension parts lead to extra movement and uneven wear over time. These heavy-duty shackle links connect key suspension components and help keep everything working together properly, making them an easy way to restore suspension performance.
Shackle links need to match the suspension setup already on your trailer, so both the center-to-center length and thickness matter. These links measure 2-1/4" from hole center to hole center and are 0.5" thick, giving you the key dimensions to compare before replacing worn links in a compatible 1-3/4" double-eye spring suspension setup.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at the Lippert replacement shackle links. Now, these heavy duty shackle links are designed to connect your trailer suspension springs to the rear hangar or equalizer, making them an essential part of your trailer suspension system. These are made to fit double-eye spring suspension kits that use the 1 3/4-inch wide springs. So they're gonna be a direct replacement for many standard trailer suspensions. And let me go ahead and give you some measurements here.
Lining up my ruler here, I want to measure center of eye to center eye as best as I can. So as I hope you can see, on center, we're sitting right at 2 1/4 inches. The thickness, right at 1/2 inch. So these are gonna give you added strength and durability. Compared to the thinner factory links, the heavy duty steel construction is zinc-plated to help resist rust and corrosion caused by rain, road salt, and everyday road debris.
These links are also compatible with greasable wet bolts, making the future suspension maintenances easier by allowing critical pivot points to be lubricated for longer component life and smoother operation. And their OE-style design is going to ensure a straightforward installation and proper fit with compatible suspension systems. So you're gonna get exactly what you see here for links. If you need help with installation on this product page, typically underneath the photo section, we have a link that will take you to our Installer Locator.
