What Do I Need to Upgrade My Progressive Dynamics PD4060K to Charge Lithium LiFePO4 Battery?

Hey Etrailer, I have a 2020 Outdoors RV 21 TRX with a Progressive Dynamics PD4060K. I would like to upgrade it to charge a Lifepo4 battery. Can you help confirm the part I need. I have a few pictures I can send if that helps. Thanks!

Hello Ryan,
Thanks for writing in!
You are in luck, you do not need to replace your entire Progressive Dynamics PD4060K power center to make the switch to a LiFePO4 battery.
You need the Replacement Converter Section for Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series 60 Amp Power Center # PD4060CSV. This replaces the converter section in your existing PD4060K and gives you the lithium charging capability you need, while allowing you to keep the rest of your power center in place.
We didn't have any good pictures showing where the switch is for Lithium, so I pulled the converter from the warehouse so I can give you a closer look, why did they make it so tiny!?! Please see attached images, in order to charge Lithium batteries the switch needs to be to the "ON" position, to the left of the switch you will see "LI" at the top by "ON", that is for Lithium.
Are you making the switch to lithium for more battery capacity while dry camping?

The pins next to the switch need to be connected together for Li Battery. It is a pin jumper connector very commonly found on printed circuit boards. My PD4060k clearly shows lead gel and lithium. The one in the picture. I only see lead and gel. Double check with Progressive Dynamics that the procedure you use is clear and straight forward. Also I don't have the switch. Double check!! Hope this helps you.
