Can etrailer Electric Trailer Jack Work Without Trailer Battery

I'm looking to add an electric jack to my enclosed trailer but it doesn't have a battery. Will the e72QV work or do I need to add a battery to run an electric jack?

Hey Trevor! You don't need to add a trailer battery to use the etrailer Electric Trailer Jack # e72QV. The jack has its own 7-way plug that connects directly to your tow vehicle for power, so it is a really nice option for an enclosed trailer like yours that doesn't have an onboard battery. If you want to add a tongue weight scale to help with loading, the # e28KV is also available.
