Highlights

  • Skip Some of the Hand Cranking: Use your drill and the included 19mm socket to raise or lower the jack.
  • Lift Up to 1,500 lbs: Handles the tongue weight of boat trailers during hookup, launch prep, and storage.
  • Crank It by Hand When Needed: Fold-down sidewind handle gives you a manual option when the drill isn't handy.
  • Swivels Up for Travel: Pivot the jack alongside the trailer frame so it stays clear of the road.
  • Better Suited for Marine Use: Aluminum construction and stainless steel hardware resist corrosion around the water.
  • Roll the Trailer Into Place: Built-in wheel makes small positioning adjustments easier at the ramp or driveway.

Features to know about

Let Your Drill Do the Cranking

Drill AssistDrill Assist

Hand cranking gets old when you're hooking up before a launch or putting the trailer away afterward. Fold down the sidewind handle and use your drill with the included 19mm socket to raise or lower the jack. If the drill isn't nearby, flip the handle back up and crank it manually.

1,500 lbs of Lifting Capacity

With a 1,500-lb maximum capacity and 12" of travel, this jack handles the tongue weight of boat trailers during hookup and storage. Raise the coupler to clear the hitch ball, line things up, and lower it into place without lifting the tongue by hand.

Swivels Out of the Way for Travel

Once you're hitched, the jack pivots up alongside the trailer frame instead of hanging toward the pavement. That gives you more clearance when you're pulling through ramps, driveways, and other uneven areas where a jack left down could scrape or take a hit.

Aluminum Construction for Marine Use

Boat trailer hardware spends plenty of time around water, so corrosion resistance matters. This jack uses an aluminum body with stainless steel hardware to better handle wet, salty environments and routine exposure around the ramp.

A Wheel for Small Positioning Adjustments

Image Descriptor

The built-in wheel makes it easier to roll the tongue a short distance when you're lining up with the hitch ball or shifting the trailer in the driveway or storage area. It's especially handy for those little adjustments where lifting or dragging the tongue would just be unnecessary work.

Fast Service, Great Jack

by:

Great quality!! Lost one star because the crank lift is soooo sloooow.

by:

The jack is absolutely smooth in the crank and the build quality is excellent. The finish of the jack is outstanding, great buy and good upgrade!!!

by:

Easy installation. Easy operation with both manual crank and using a drill with supplied socket.

by:

Very nice quality and very smooth when cranking my boat up!!! I have a brand new Robalo 226 Cayman and the trailer is very nice but the trailer just gave way so I ordered this one based on reviews and so far so good!!! Also seems much better quality than the original one I had on the trailer!!!

After going through 2 zinc coated steel jacks in a short period with saltwater use it is awesome to see a product engineered to last. I took a magnet to the whole unit and the only steel (painted) is the mounting plate. Thanks etrailer for making this the last Jack replacement for the foreseeable future!

by:

Came well packaged. Easy to install on my boat trailer. Very sturdy and easy to roll trailer tongue with boat on it in my shop. Aluminum material makes the jack very light to handle. I like the large plastic handle to unlock and rotate the jack to travel position. Makes this process really easy. Also like the jack handle and design to allow using the drill motor to extend and retract the jack.

by:

Overall, I'm happy with this jack. I didn't really think that I would use the drill adapter, but it is really nice! Two recommedations that would get it 5 stars from me:
1) Use an 8" wheel instead of a 6"
2) Have a way to secure the crank handle when towing so it doesn't flop around. I added a 3M velco strap.

by:

Great quality product! Easy installation and use. This aluminum jack won’t rust out like the zinc plated units do in a few years. Looks nice too!
Used etrailer for this and the coupler to make the used trailer look new again!

Glad we could help, Alan! They definitely look great on there! ^___^ What kind of boat are you towing?

Great upgrade to old rusted zinc-plated wheeled trailer jack. This one's fully-lowered height from center of tongue to bottom of wheel is 13-3/4", plenty for my 15" seated ball height. I was able to rotate the bracket 180 deg from how it was shipped to get that height. The quality appears very good. All aluminum construction, including the brackets opposite the jack to secure it to the trailer tongue. And fully stainless bolts and nylock nuts. It's about 3x the cost of the cheapest zinc-plated Etrailer wheeled jack, but I'd say worth the extra cost.

Glad you like it, Brian! We are pretty proud of this jack and it should last a good long time with how we built it. Have you used the drill function to lift/lower the jack yet? It does make these super easy to use.

  • etrailer Sidewind Aluminum Jacks e95YV - Distance From Center Of Bracket To Bottom Of The Wheel
Hey Brian, thanks for reaching out. I went out to our warehouse and measured one of the etrailer Sidewind Aluminum Jacks # e95YV. The distance from the center of the bracket to the bottom of the wheel is approximately 14" with the jack fully retracted. What trailer were you thinking of putting it on?

  • Replacement Jack Recommendation for Fulton F2 Marine Jack
Hey George, best solution for you will be to go with an all new jack like the etrailer part # e95YV because Fulton is no longer in business so there isn't a way to get a replacement F2 and none of the other jacks out there use the same bolt pattern. This means that only way forward is a new jack that comes with a new mounting plate like the part # e95YV. If you are wanting to avoid cutting and welding this jack comes with a bolt on bracket that you could put to either side of your current...

  • Replacement for Shelby Bolt-On Swivel Jack On 2005 Triton Trailer
Hey Wayne! It looks like that is an old Shelby bolt-on jack with a 1,500 lb capacity. The measurement that matters here is going to be your frame height. For a replacement, I recommend the etrailer Sidewind Aluminum Jack with Wheel # e95YV. This has the same 1,500 lb capacity, and aluminum construction, and has the option of being drill powered with the included attachment. This is designed to fit frames 2" to 4" tall. What are you hauling on your ATV 128?

  • Replacement Swivel Jack w/a Wheel for a Boat Trailer
I sure do Steve! To replace your Triton boat trailer's jack, I recommend our etrailer Sidewind Aluminum Jack with Wheel item # e95YV. This is a 1,500 lbs capacity jack, that will provide 12" of travel, and has a built-in wheel for easy moving of your trailer. Our etrailer Sidewind Jack item # e95YV is made of high-strength aluminum and uses stainless steel hardware so you don't have to worry about corrosion and rust. It comes with a bolt on swivel mounting bracket that fits frames 2" to...

  • Is There A Good Quality Aluminum Jack For Boat Trailer That Has Swivel Jack On Side Of Frame?
Hey Brian! Yep, for your boat trailer, I’d skip the etrailer A-frame drill jack # e38AV since your trailer doesn't have that standard 3-bolt A-frame jack mount. That could be fabricated to fit, but that's a lot of unnecessary work. For a side-mounted boat trailer setup, the better match is the etrailer Sidewind Aluminum Jack with Wheel - Swivel Bolt - 1.5K # e95YV. It bolts to the side of the trailer frame (fits 2" - 4" tall frames), swivels up for travel, and has the wheel you’ll usually...

  • Replacement Jack For A Pontoon Trailer That Can Be Powered By Cordless Drill
Good morning Frank! The etrailer Sidewind Aluminum Jack with Wheel - Swivel Bolt - 1.5K # e95YV is a really nice option when you want easier operation without wiring an electric jack. It has a 1,500 lb capacity, 12 inches of travel, and a wheel for moving the trailer tongue around at the ramp or in storage. Since it uses an aluminum body with stainless steel hardware, it is better suited for wet boat-trailer use than a painted steel jack. The drill feature is the big arm-saver here. Use...

  • Can I Use Side Mount Swivel Jack On Boat Trailer AND My Camper That Has 3 Bolt Tongue Jack?
Hey Russell! You’ll most likely want different styles, but there is a chance the same side-mount jack could work on both trailers depending on the camper frame. For the camper with the standard A-frame mount, the straightforward fit is the etrailer Manual Sidewind Trailer Jack w/SnapPad and Drill Adapter - A-Frame # e38AV. It bolts into the common 3" on-center 3-bolt pattern, has a 2,000 lb capacity, and includes the 3/4" socket for drill operation. For the boat trailer, the better fit...

  • Best Boat Trailer Jack For 17 Foot Fishing Boat Trailer - No Electrical Wiring
Good morning Terry! Yes, for a boat trailer, the etrailer Sidewind Aluminum Jack with Wheel - Swivel Bolt - 1.5K # e95YV is the one I’d start with. It is the silver aluminum version with the wheel, and it was built more with boat trailer use in mind than the black steel utility-trailer style jacks. You get a 1,500 lb lift capacity, 12" of travel, a 6" wheel, and an aluminum body with stainless steel hardware, which is exactly the kind of construction you'd want for rust-prevention around...

  • Swivel Jack For A Jet Ski Trailer That Gets Dunked Often - No Electrical Wiring
Hey Caleb! For a personal watercraft trailer, the etrailer Sidewind Aluminum Jack with Wheel - Swivel Bolt - 1.5K # e95YV is the one I’d use. It is aluminum with stainless steel hardware, so it makes sense for a trailer that sees a lot of ramp use. The 1,500 lb capacity is plenty for typical small boat and PWC trailer tongue weights, and the built-in wheel is handy when you’re lining things up in the driveway or storage spot. You also get the included 19mm socket for drill operation,...

Good morning Ron! Yes, for a boat trailer where you still want a wheel, the etrailer Sidewind Aluminum Jack with Wheel - Swivel Bolt - 1.5K # e95YV is an excellent option. It has a 1,500 lb capacity, 12" of travel, a built-in wheel for positioning the trailer, and aluminum construction with stainless steel hardware for better resistance around wet or marine use. It also includes a 19mm socket for drill operation, so you can raise and lower it with a non-impact drill. How heavy is the tongue...

  • Can etrailer Jack Replace Fulton Magnum Trailer Jack
Hey David, the etrailer sidewinder trailer jack part # e95YV that you referenced will be a great replacement for the jack you have now but are you trying to use an existing set of mounting brackets too? This will work great either way but you would most likely need to use the included brackets instead of reusing what you have currently.

  • Drill-Powered Jack With Wheel For 18 Foot Bass Boat Stored In A Tight Garage
Hey Wayne! For that kind of garage setup, I’d look at the etrailer Sidewind Aluminum Jack with Wheel - Swivel Bolt - 1.5K # e95YV. It gives you the wheel you need for nudging the tongue around by hand, but it also includes a 19mm socket so you can raise and lower the jack with a standard non-impact drill. You can still crank it manually too, of course. The aluminum body and stainless steel hardware are a good match for a boat trailer too, especially if the jack is getting wet at the ramp...

  • What is Fully Retracted Height for etrailer jack part # e95YV
Hey Doug, welcome back! This is a great question but when the etrailer jack part # e95YV that you referenced has a minimum height of 14 inches from the center of it's mounting bracket down to the ground when fully retracted. So you would need to measure from center of your trailer frame down to the ground to determine if this would be enough clearance or not. Do you know what the max distance is you could fit?

This one is built with an aluminum body and stainless steel hardware, so it’s a better fit around water than a typical painted steel jack. It has a 1,500 lb capacity, 12" of travel, and the wheel you’ll want for lining the trailer up in the garage, driveway, or at the ramp. Good morning Steve! For a boat trailer jack where you still want a wheel, I’d use the etrailer Sidewind Aluminum Jack with Wheel - Swivel Bolt - 1.5K # e95YV. That one gives you a 1,500 lb capacity, 12" of travel, and a built-in wheel so you can move the tongue around in the garage or at the ramp. Good morning Eddie! The etrailer Sidewind Aluminum Jack with Wheel - Swivel Bolt - 1.5K # e95YV is the one I’d look at for that. It gives you a 1,500 lb capacity, 12" of travel, and a built-in wheel, so it still works like a normal boat trailer jack when you need to roll the tongue a little. • Is There A Trailer Jack That Uses Bearings For The Swivel Wheel?
Hi Scot! All the jacks we carry use a bushing for the wheel to rotate on. I am not aware of a jack that uses a bearing for this function, though there could be an option out there. The closest we have to something like that is the Ark Xtreme Off-Road Tube Mount Jack w/ Dual Wheel - Sidewind - 10" Lift - 1,650 lbs - Silver # ARK57FR, which I will admit isn't actually that similar.
