Your arm stalls mid-crank with a loaded tongue. Been there. This swivel bolt jack lifts up to 2,000 lbs and accepts a 3/4" socket so a drill can do the work. It pivots up for clearance, and hitching doesn't drag on.
Hand cranking isn't difficult, but after enough hookups, you'll probably be happy to skip it. Fold down the sidewind handle and use your drill with the included 3/4" socket to raise or lower the jack. If the drill isn't nearby, just flip the handle back up and crank it manually.
With a 2,000-lb maximum capacity and 14" of lift, this jack handles the tongue weight of loaded campers, utility trailers, and other towables. Raise the coupler to clear the hitch ball, line everything up, and lower it into place without wrestling with the front of the trailer.
Once you're hitched, the jack pivots up alongside the trailer frame instead of hanging toward the pavement. That gives you more clearance over dips, driveways, and uneven roads where a jack left down could scrape or take a hit.
Trailer jacks spend their lives outside, so bare steel isn't much of a long-term plan. The outer tube has an e-coat beneath a glossy black powder coat, while the inner tube is protected with white zinc plating. Together, those finishes help protect the steel from moisture and corrosion.
You won't get halfway through mounting the jack and discover the hardware was somebody else's problem. It includes (3) 3/8"-16 x 1" grade 5 hex bolts, (3) 3/8" flat washers, and (3) 3/8"-16 grade 5 nylon lock nuts. The 3/4" socket for drill operation is included too.
The round removable foot plate gives the jack a broader base when you're parked on gravel, grass, or other uneven surfaces. If you want an even larger footprint, it's also compatible with a 6" SnapPad (sold separately), which can be especially useful when you're setting up on softer ground.
