Hey Tom, thanks for reaching out. The Demco Spare Tire Carrier # DM15851-52 doesn't have a published weight capacity because the limiting factor isn't the carrier itself, it's the wheel and bolt pattern. It's designed to fit wheels with bolt patterns up to 8 on 6-1/2 inches, so if your spare fits the carrier properly, it's within the intended operating range.
The only thing I recommend is making sure the carrier is mounted securely to a structurally sound part of the trailer and that all of the hardware is tightened to the specified torque. As long as you do that, you'll be good to go and weight capacity won't be an issue.

I have a 14ft cargo trailer brand Durabull and a 16 inch tire, tons of strength you may have to change the bolt length to mount depending on the frame but the unit is amazing. Hope this helps, Peter

I have a class C with a 4 in.² bumper. I am looking at mounting a tire carrier directly over the bracket from the bumper to the frame. The wheels are 16 inch, 8 V pattern. It sounds like I should be fine. Thank you
