Thanks for reaching out Brian, happy to help!

Believe it or not, we've had quite a few questions about upgrading the M1101 and M1102 military trailers. I checked the bearing, race, and grease seal dimensions, and the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-865-7-2-EZ-K is a confirmed fit for those trailers. Yea, most prefer the electric brakes because of the proportional braking.

Since you're looking to switch from surge brakes to electric brakes, this hub and drum assembly is a solid choice. Let me know if you have any questions about the electric brake assemblies and wiring.

What are you planning to use the trailer for?
