Will 1UP Heavy Duty Bike Rack Clear 2025 Bronco Sasquatch Spare With TowSmart Trailer Hitch

Updated 07/15/2026 | Published 07/09/2026

Question:

I have a 2025 Bronco Badlands trim with thr Sasquatch pachage. It has a big spare. Does this stick out far enough to clear the tire to have my bikes clear the tire when using a 1up heavy duty bike rack? If not, can you point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance for your assistance! Jake

Hey Jake! I believe our test Bronco is running the same style mud-terrain tire as your Sasquatch package. We measured 8" from the center of the # TS46VR hitch pin hole to the outside edge of the spare tire, so that should give you a good idea of how much clearance you'll have with your 1UP rack. If you want to be cautious, add an extra 1/2" to that measurement to be sure you have clearance.

I'm not entirely sure where yours will sit since 1UP doesn't measure from the hitch pin hole. They measure from the end of the receiver, which isn't very helpful since receivers vary in length and the hitch pin hole isn't always in the same spot. You will need to mock it up and see if there is clearance. If you don't have enough, an extender will be required.

What kind of bikes do you have?

I have many bikes,so it depends on what I decide to bring. Sound like I need to do some math. Can you help me out with measurements for this product? How far will it stick out from the bumper? Where is the pin hole located? Thanks, Jake

@Jake it looks like you went ahead and decided to grab it which was a good choice. Realistically, this has the longest receiver out of the available options so it is your best bet for a bike rack one way or another. Unfortunately, our installer didn't measure from the bumper when we installed this and that is the only way to get those measurements is when it is on the vehicle.
