This hitch is built for real use, not just the occasional trip. With a 4,500 lbs maximum gross trailer weight and 675 lbs tongue weight rating, it’s ready for light to moderate towing—like small trailers, boats, or campers. The 2" x 2" receiver opening gives you the flexibility to use standard ball mounts, bike racks, or cargo carriers without special adapters.
You don’t need a lift or welding gear to get this hitch installed. The fully welded, custom-fit design bolts directly onto the frame using the included hardware. It uses factory mounting points, which means alignment is precise and consistent. The sturdy square-tube body and precision robotic welding maximize strength and make it easier to handle during installation.
Built to handle weather and road grime, the Blue Ox hitch has a textured black powder coat over a protective e-coat that shields against rust and corrosion. The finish keeps it looking sharp while hiding nicks and scuffs from everyday use. The welded-on bracket for your trailer wiring keeps things tidy and gives the rear end a clean, finished look.
Every piece of this hitch shows attention to detail—from its sturdy steel tubing to the complete hardware kit that comes in the box. Once installed, it’s rated for up to 4,500 lbs GTW and 675 lbs TW whether you’re towing or using weight distribution. It’s a solid piece of gear that’s designed to perform reliably trip after trip.

Hello, neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Blue Ox Trailer Hitch Receiver. Now, folks, this is a custom fit Class III two inch receiver tube by Blue Ox. It does specifically fit the 2021 through '25 Ford Broncos. And that being said, folks, make sure you're double checking that with our fit guide here at etrailer.com's homepage. Enter things like your make and model where it says my vehicle information, and any kind of sub models, bed lengths, anything like that to be sure you're getting the right parts the first time.
Keep in mind, sometimes, these videos could be outdated, and it could potentially fit newer models as well. Now, folks, when this is installed, it's gonna look something like this on the back of your Bronco. And again, it's a custom fit, so it is designed specifically for the Broncos. Its precision robotic welding on all the welded seams here make it a maximized strength and improve the fitment of it. It is a simple bolt-on installation with the included four bolts, washers, and nuts.
And you get instructions with it as well. It's pretty simple, it's gonna go up in place and then just get bolted on. Now, it has a nice elegant textured black powder coat finish on top of the heavy-duty steel, so you shouldn't have to worry about any kind of rust, corrosion. They also, on top of that, have an e-coat, which gives you just another level of that rust resistance. It's very sturdy, very strong.
Again, it's a tubular design, which is kinda standard. And it includes the bracket over here to easily mount your trailer plug onto the side of this, that way, it's up out of the way and not just dangling. Now, you would need a ball mount pin and clip sold separately to attach to a trailer at that point. Now, the maximum gross trailer weight capacity is 4,500 pounds. And the maximum tongue weight is 675 pounds.
Now, this is rated for weight distribution, so you can use it for weight distribution as well if you need. I did wanna get a couple of quick dimensions here with you, just simply from the back of this plate to the center of the tube here. And I got 4 1/8 inches. And then from the center of the tube out to the edge, I got. I'm sorry, from the back all the way out to the front edge, I got 6 3/4 inches long. So again, folks, you get the safety chain tie-downs already inside the metal, ready to go and everything. Just a nice quality product by Blue Ox. I'm Steven, thanks for watching, and have a great day.

Great hitch!
Great to deal with, and the videos
Great trailer hitch, fast delivery, super easy install! Hardest part was loosening Bronco bumper. Highly recommend this hitch
Quarter inch gap which does not make this hitch structurally sound. Why wouldn’t spacers be included? Having to take this in to a shop to repair and install properly.
Easy to install. Fast delivery and great install video.
The mounting flanges have excessive gap where the hitch slides onto the frame member. However, it did finally tighten fully after progressively tightening bolt to bolt, over and over again.
Bolted on just as described in the instruction video. Excellent quality and specifications for the Bronco.
By far the best trailer hitch available for G6 Ford Bronco. The Blue Ox is ultra heavy duty in comparison to all the other offerings. Of course my review would not be complete without a shout out to the etrailer team and everything provided from purchase to installation. Again, thank you team etrailer for all you do!
The bracket on hitch that slides on Bronco frame is 1/4 to wide. Flat washers should be thicker and hardened.
It's a good hitch. The hitch itself is very easy to install.
However, for a 2024 Bronco, there will be a bracket you have to remove before you can put the hitch on. Unfortunately, it's held in place by a very long bolt that is just smothered in thread lock. The bumper doesn't provide enough clearance to back the bolt out so you have to remove the bumper or at least loosen its bolts enough to make room.
The hitch instructions make no mention of this probably because they weren't adding the wiring harness by default to Broncos from 2023 and prior. But for 2024 they include the wiring harness even if you didn't order the tow package.
Once the bracket is removed, this hitch can be swapped out without taking the bumper off as its bolts are much shorter.
Heavy duty and high quality hitch. Purchased for a 2024 Bronco Wildtrak. Installation was easy and exactly as in the video.
Fit perfectly, awesome pulling capacity
product is well made and fit perfect.
Perfect fit, easy install, and quick delivery. Hitch is heavy duty and appears to be well made.
Easy to install
Solid heavy unit, install is pretty straight forward. Extremely happy with the Blue Ox!!!
looks good, very easy to install
Easy installation. Happy with purchase
Product Review:got the hitch today fits correct light plug-in works correct very pleased now can go fishing thanks
Easy to install, looks great!
Hitch is more heavy duty than the factory, just wish there was an actual mount for the 7 pin instead of zip tie.
Fit pretty well, I added some washers like others have already commented on, to make the hitch more secure to the frame. The hitch would wobbly if I did not add the spacers. Bolted on easily, wiring harness was plug and play. I did not have to take the bumper off, but did loosen all the bolts, mainly to remove the Ford bolts from the stock wiring harness cover. Ford wanted $499 for their wiring harness, don’t think so my friend.
Fantastic built and looks sturdy. However almost a half inch gap when I put bolts on. Had to use 8 not provided washers to make up the gap between the hitch mountings and the frame that the bolts go through.
See photo.
Installation was easy after correcting Ford issues with stripped bolt from factory install of bracket holding wiring harness.
Really like how well it's built. Did not fit my 2025 Bronco perfectly, had to use 2 washers to take up the extra space. Removing the bumper is required and is a bit of a pain but once you figure out which bolts to remove it's not too bad.

Glad you got it installed, Arthur! Now I do have to say that those washers should absolutely be removed. When you torque the hitch bolts down, it will close that gap and fit completely flush. Having washers in there, I can't say if the capacities have been altered or not and if the warranty will be honored.
