This TowSmart Trailer Hitch Receiver gives you the strength and versatility to handle a wide range of towing needs. With a 4,500 lbs maximum gross trailer weight and 675 lbs maximum tongue weight, it’s built for small campers, boats, and cargo carriers without breaking a sweat. The 2" x 2" receiver size works with the most common bike racks, cargo platforms, and towing accessories, so you can haul your gear securely wherever you’re headed.
The hitch is made from fully welded carbon steel for dependable strength and durability. Its matte black powder coat finish offers superior rust resistance and keeps the metal protected from road salt and debris. The solid construction helps maintain stability when towing or carrying heavy accessories, so you can trust it to hold up over time in all kinds of conditions.
No welding or complicated setup needed—this hitch bolts straight to the frame using the included complete hardware kit. The custom fit is designed specifically for your vehicle so installation lines up easily without extra modifications. If you’re into DIY projects, this hitch design makes it simple to mount with everyday tools right in your garage or driveway.
When you’re not towing or hauling gear, the receiver stays neatly tucked beneath the bumper so it doesn’t get in the way of loading cargo or accessing your hatch. The low-profile look keeps your vehicle’s rear end clean while still giving you full utility when it's time to attach a bike rack, ball mount, or cargo tray.

Fit like a glove.
Easy install
Didn’t see the hardware inside the hitch at first so now I have two sets of grade 8 hardware lol. You don’t have to remove the bumper entirely but you do need to loosen it to move it away to get the original bracket that contains the 7 pin unused connector (noted on this page the bumper may need to come off). Leaving one bolt in to hold the bumper up and moving it away from frame made it a lot easier to install. And then you don’t need a second person to help install it back on. Ensure you disconnect the parking aid harness on each side before doing so.
Stong well built and great servie
Love the fact that it has a heavier weight rating than most of the rest that I looked at and easy to install.
Perfect for my 2025 2 door Bronco!

I'd say! Where are you heading too with your bikes, RJ??
Quality construction. Easy installation.
Took me a little more than the 30 minutes, but was a very straightforward and was perfect for my bike rack so it wouldn’t interfere with the spare tire on the Bronco!
Easy install. High tongue weight and extends far out so the spare tire doesn't interfere with a bike rack.
It fits like a glove! I love the fact that I no longer need an extension for my bike to clear the spare tire. That said, I’m officially naming it the "Shin Kicker 4000" because I just know I’m going to run into it sooner or later. On the plus side, I’ve realized it double duties as a perfect step if I ever put a cargo rack on top of the Bronco. Really liking it so far!
Watched the eTrailer install vid, tools needed are minimal (must have metric tools). I did use blue locktite on the nuts for a bit more security. A torque wrench is needed to tighten to spec.
Instructions need updating. Installed on a 2025 Ford Bronco Heritage Edition and bolts/nuts installation direction as shown in instructions interferes with the bumper frame. Bolts/nuts direction must be rotated 180 degrees so the rear bumper can be reinstalled. Additionally, it is recommended to use BLUE thread locker on bolts/nuts interface. BLUE threadlocker keeps the nuts from vibrating loose over time. Check torque after first tow or whatever device is placed in receiver.

Thanks for the tip, Lori! Thread locker isn't necessary as long as the bolts are torqued to spec, but there's no harm in using it.
