Does Demco Base Plate Kit for 2018 Ford Explorer Require Removing Bumper

Question:
Will thus base DM56MV work on my 2018 expedition with out having to remove the bumper? Will the included removable adaptors connect to a 10000 bl rated Blackhawk 2 all terrane tow bar ? If not what adaptors are needed? For the tow bar. OR:::: Is there a base plate end adaptor to connect to the above mentioned tow bar?

Hey Mark, I checked the install instructions for the Demco base plate kit part # DM56MV that you referenced and it does not require removing the front bumper to complete the install. This also will work directly with your Roadmaster Blackhawk 2 tow bar and would not require any adapters. Do you have the rest of your flat towing setup picked out already?

The Demco base plates are very easy to install and do not require removal of anything as long as the Expedition has tow hooks. The newest Expeditions have removed the tow hooks except for the Tremor model
