Would the BandW Anti-Rattle Clamp for 2-1/2inch Hitch Receivers Part Number: BW65FR work with Andersen weight distribution system?

Hey Markell! The B&W Anti-Rattle Clamp for 2-1/2" Hitch Receivers # BW65FR is not compatible with any weight distribution hitch so it can't be used with the Andersen.

With that gusset welded on the shank I recommend the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 2-1/2" Trailer Hitches # RM-062 instead. This doesn't have a weight distribution restriction and will be compatible with the design of the Andersen.

What kind of trailer are you towing?

@MarkellH thanks! That'll be a great setup. The # RM-062 will work well with your Andersen and the factory 2-1/2" receiver on your Ram 2500.

@RobinH I had to install the anti-rattle upside down, through the chain loop (I assume that’s ok??). Per the instructions, it’s this can be done for more ground clearance. The factory Ram receiver is very short. Set up will be tested today
