Question:
Hello I have a 2024 kia carnival without a hitch, I will be pulling a camper with a 7 pin connector. Can you give me advise as to what products will give me the cleanest and simplest install for the plug and a brake controller? Thanks!

Happy to help Jeffrey, thanks for reaching out!
For a clean and simple setup on your 2024 Kia Carnival, I recommend the EcoHitch Hidden Hitch# EH92KR. This hitch has a hidden cross tube design, so once installed only the receiver is visible.
The camper wiring depends on whether your Carnival the factory tow package:
Carnival has the factory tow package:
Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118784 along with the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. This combination will give you a 7 way connector and the wiring needed for a brake controller.
Carnival does not have the factory tow package: you'll want to use the CURT T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # CU94FR. This custom fit harness plugs into the factory wiring and provides the 7 way trailer functions for a towing setup.
For the brake controller, the Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller # C51180 is my recommendation. It plugs into the 7 way connector, there's no need to mount a traditional brake controller under the dash, making it one of the cleanest and simplest options available. It also provides proportional braking, so your trailer brakes respond smoothly based on how hard you're braking.
If you're unsure whether your Carnival has the factory tow package, I'd be happy to help you identify it.
Do you have any trips in mind for when you get this all setup?
