Hopefully you do not want it new when you get it. Delivered without a box in a thin piece of plastic with all ends scraped up.

Phenomenal company. Wouldn’t buy hitches anywhere else

by:

Perfect fit for my 2024 Kia Carnival. However, packaging could have been better. The hitch was shrink wrapped and not boxed which allow scratches in several places during shipment.

by:

Shop elsewhere! My hitch was delivered with no box, no hardware, no instructions, and all scratched up. Customer service was not much help only offering me $15 off my order so I could buy touch up paint! My time wasted was worth more than that. I won't make the same mistake twice.

by:

Fit great and was easy to install on 2022 kia Carnival

by:

Well made and skillfully installed

Quick delivery

by:

E-Trailer Rocks, I was very thankful to receive great customer service from their knowledgable staff. Stoked to get this installed and working properly. Easy installation process was much appreciated!

by:

Install was fairly simple, but you will need an angle adapter with an extension for the socket to install one of the bolts on the passenger side. Even with three contact points disconnected from the exhaust, there was no way to get it out of the way to install one of the bolts.
Rather than cutting the recommended area on the cover on the drive's side I chose to cut out just the area needed and slide it over the hitch before mounting the hitch. Photos are attached.

by:

Great hitch, no complaints.

by:

High-quality. Really recommend it.

by:

Don’t but from etrailer. I had previous experiences that were great and ignored the reviews that stated the packaging was poor. Well, my hitch came scratched up bad and not just the parts you couldn’t see. The main receiver was scratched up too. Additionally, one of the 6 bolts was defective and the head was as rounded off. I contacted etrailer and they sent another out, but too late for me to use the hitch the weekend I needed it. No offer to discount for the scratches or not including the correct parts. I’ll go elsewhere from now on.

by:

One of the six bolts was difficult to install because it was hidden above other items. Otherwise, the installation was OK and the product performs as expected.

by:

Product was a perfect fit. Installation was per instructions. The most time consuming was working around the muffler for which I recommend 19m ratchet wrench. I'm 75 and installed by myself.

by:

Always great service and how to videos are always so timely. Thank you etrailer

  • Torque Specs For The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C67ER On A 2025 Kia Carnival
Hey Richard, The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C67ER's M12 fasteners would need to be torqued to 60ftlbs. While I doubt this torque setting will change since these are threaded into factory weld nuts it's always best to reference the installation manual for any updates. I've attached the installation manual below as well as Ian's installation video to help walk you through the process. If you haven't picked out your wiring harness yet and plan on towing a trailer at some point then...

  • Curt vs. etrailer Trailer Hitch for Kia Carnival: What’s the Difference Between Part C67ER and e36KR
Great question Carlos, the truth is, there’s no real difference between the two hitches: Part # e36KR and Part # C67ER. They’re both made to the same specs, install the same way, and neither one requires any drilling into the frame. The main difference comes down to the finish and branding. The e36KR is the etrailer-branded version and has a matte black finish, while the C67ER is from Curt and has more of a glossy black finish. Personally, I’d go with the etrailer version. I just think...

This is a plastic cover on the underside of your Carnival, and you can easily trim it with Tin Snips # PT79ZR.

  • Will 2024 Kia Carnival Trailer Hitch Reduce Ground Clearance
Both the Curt # C67ER and etrailer # e36KR trailer hitches that fit your 2024 Kia Carnival will reduce your ground clearance since the crosstube will hang below your rear bumper. Since this is the case you'll want to enter and exit any steep driveways and such at an angle to give you the best clearance. • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For a 2023 Kia Carnival Least Likely to Scrape on Driveway
Personally I feel the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e36KR will be the least visible receiver for your 2023 Kia Carnival. The design of this is similar to the Curt # C67ER but uses a matte black finish allowing it to blend in better with the factory trim. The Draw-Tite # DT34GR you found I feel will be the receiver most likely to drag on the driveway as it uses a straight square cross tube which sits back further on the ends than our etrailer and the curt options.
