Looking for Longer Weight Distribution Shank for 2026 Keystone Cougar 22MLS

Question:
I am connecting a 2026 Keystone Cougar 22MLS to a 2019 Ford F-250 FX4 pkg. I am using the Blue Ox BXW 1050 Sway Pro. I need your Blue Ox BLU95FR, 9-hole version. May I special order a 10 inch center of hitch pin hole to center of adjustment holes? Reason: I cannot lower my tailgate while hooked-up. Tailgate hits the power tongue lift controls. One more inch clearance will fix this issue, with room to spare. Thank you.

Hey Stephen, how much rise/drop do you need? While we don't have ability to order a longer version of the Blue Ox shank you mentioned we do have similar shanks from other brands like the Blue Ox part # BXW4003 which has a 9 inch adjustment hole shank and is quite a bit longer.

Thank you, I am in the bottom holes on the 7-hole ball mount, and need another 1 1/4 inch drop to level the trailer under tow. I noticed the BXW 4003. I'm afraid a 3 inch extention will lead to safety chain problems (too short. binding). If it matters, I incorrectly stated I had a Sway Pro, it is actually a Track Pro.
