I have a 2026 Forest river XLR BOOST 363BX .I was looking at the Torflex lift kit would this work on my RV . I need to get my camper higher so when I slide my BandW hitch back it will not hit my tail gate . I thought if i raise the height of my camper i could then raise my 5th wheel .

Hey Tim, thanks for reaching out. We do have a lift kit option for you, but the Torflex lift kits are only for torsion axles, and if I'm not mistaken, the 2026 Forest river XLR BOOST 363BX uses leaf spring suspension. If so, we do have a lift kit for that. You can use the following:
- Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit - Tandem Axle # RR23QX
This will provide 1-1/4" of lift for a tandem axle leaf spring setup.
If you need more lift than that, you can use the following for 2-1/4" of lift:
- Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit - Triple Axle # RR55QX
That will have enough brackets for 2-1/4" of lift on a tandem axle setup. Basically, these kits use bolt-on brackets to extend the leaf spring hangers.
Lifting the camper can definitely help with tailgate clearance. You just want to make sure the camper rides level so you may need to raise the height setting on your 5th wheel hitch also.
You camper does use leaf spring suspension, correct? What truck are you hauling with?

Tim, I have a 2023 Durango 34’ fifth wheel pulled by 2022 GMC HD2500 Diesel. I installed the 2 1/4 inch lift kit on my new camper 3 years ago. Since then we have put 15,000 miles, from Michigan to Washington State, through the Great Plains and Rockies. This kit gave me the exact height I needed for a level pull despite everything else I tried. This kit also provides me with more stability and a more enjoyable pull than before it was installed.

After installing an auto levelling system on my 31', 2017 Cougar 5th wheel; I needed more clearance under the landing pads. I installed the tandem axle alignment and lift kit and got the extra 2 1/2" I needed. I've put about 1500 miles on the rig since then with no problems.
