I ordered the Maxxair fan. I ordered thd white cover. Its opaque. When I close it, my bathroom is dark! I have to turn the lights on in the middle of the day. Is there aclear lid?

Hi Mike, there is a better option for bringing more daylight back into the bathroom but we do not have a true clear lid available.
MaxxAir Lid part # MA00-335001 is the actual replacement vent lid uses a translucent white design instead of the fully opaque style. That means you’ll still get privacy and some UV protection, but it lets in noticeably more natural light when the vent is closed so you’re not reaching for the light switch in the middle of the day. I completely understand the frustration because a lot of people do not realize how much light the opaque lids block until they install one.
Do you prefer maximum daylight inside the bathroom, or would you rather have a little tint for added privacy?

I would buy a clear lid and dome if they were available. I’m not worried about people walking on my roof looking in! ;)
