In order to check for amp draw on your Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System # ACM135C you'll need to set your multimeter # PT89ZR to the "amp" mode and connect your red clamp to a ground and then clamp your black lead to your compressor's common wire, which is shown as "C" in the attached wiring diagram.
With the multimeter connect, turn your unit on. Your compressor when running should be reading 9.9V, if it isn't reading that then you have a bad compressor and would need to replace it.
