Replacement Recommendation For Older Ventline Roof Vent
Question:
I have a ventline unit that is powered open and fan thru a mounted two switch toggle. This lid lift motor has broken. It seems very cheaply made. Interested in this unit, however the wall mount switch for this unit uses a RJ-11 wire. Mine does not I assume. How can I use this unit? How can I run the wire? Where is the 12 Volt power lead get connected? AT the fan or at the wall switch? Suggestions?

Included is a picture of where you'll find the RJ-11 and RJ-45 connection points on the MaxxFan Plus 4-Speed Roof Vent with White Lid # MA00-04751KSX.
The 12v power is located on the driver's side of the MaxxFan. The MaxxFan black wire identified with a tag showing(+) must be connected to the vehicle 12 volt (+) positive supply.
