Tow Bar Wiring and 4-Way Wiring for 2022 Jeep Wrangler Flat Tow Setup

I want to setup my 2022 Jeep Wrangler to be towed behind my RV. I plan on using the Demco baseplate, hitch and Stay-in-play brake controller. The RV has an existing 7 pin connector. Can you recommend what electrical components I will need? I need the Jeep tail/brake lights to work while being towed. I need a 4-pin connector at the back of the Jeep for a bike rack that has tail lights. This 4-pin connector needs to work whether the Jeep is being towed or driving by itself. I also want to have a battery tender on the Jeep. Thank you.

Hey Greg! For the flat tow wiring I recommend the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-15267. The only exception is if your Wrangler has ParkSense, in which case you need the Smart Diode Kit # RM63MR instead. Both come with a 6-way connector, which you'll want so you can add a charge line # RM-156-25.
Then for the 4-way for the bike rack lights you can use the # 56407. The RV's lighting signals will feed into the Jeep's tail lights through the diode kit, then the Curt harness reads those tail light signals and sends them out through the rear 4-way. It will function normally when you aren't flat towing as well.
Do you have the factory plastic bumper? If you don't already have the Demco # DM9519336, the etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit # e98948 shares the same design and will save you a little money. For a tow bar, you can use the etrailer SD # e34ZR or XHD # e94ZR. Both come with safety cables and the built-in rise/drop like the Demco.
Then in addition to the Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo # DM86VR you will also need the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751490.
