2022 Hyundai Tucson hybrid - looking for a 1-1/4 hitch. Would the 1-1/4 history be enough to handle a 2-bike rack?

Hi Neils!
It looks like only 2" hitches are available for your 2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid, like the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e38KR.
Do you already have a bike rack that has a 1-1/4" shank? This hitch can absolutely handle the weight, but you will also need to grab the etrailer Hitch Reducer 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver # e63YR if your bike rack did not come with a 2" adapter or it has been misplaced. This one will not cut your tongue weight like other options, so it is the one to get.
I would probably also grab the Lets Go Aero Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches - 3-1/2" Span # 63232, but it's not 100% necessary.
