Does Tow Hook of 2025 Toyota RAV4 Get Removed When Installing B and W Trailer Hitch

Question:
The tow attachment is removed on the RAV for during installation of the BW47BR hitch. Does this get reinstalled? If not, how is the vehicle towed without the tow attachment?

Hey Richard, when installing the B and W Hitch part # BW47BR on a RAV4 like your 2025 model you do have to remove the tow hook and it would not get reinstalled. If for some reason you needed a recovery point though you could just use the trailer hitch instead.

Installed my BW hitch on my 2025 rav4 in about 25 min with hand tools and floor jack. All hardware and instructions were perfect. Just what I wanted to pull a small trailer and riding mower. Great deduct with fast delivery. Much better than the $500 uhaul and others wanted!
