I need to replace my GE ARH15AACB. Ive read about the Furrion ducted with heat pump on your site. Which would do the best job for cooling our Sunseeker 2850? I believe Ill need the complete kit to replace outside, inside and control for the furnace operation. Thanks

Welcome back Ben and thanks for the information! The Furrion Variable Speed Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump item # FR27TQ in black or item # FR59TQ in white would be great options to replace your GE ARH15AACB.
The Furrion Chill Cube systems come with the new 18K btu variable speed compressor that does a great job of maintaining a set temperature in your motorhome. It'll definitely keep you cool when it heats up outside.
The Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump item # FR27TQ in black or item # FR59TQ in white are complete AC systems that include a built in heat pump, along with a air distribution box designed for ducted setups that has built in controls, a convenient remote, and a thermostat. Due to the new R32 refrigerant, you will indeed need all of these components to replace your GE ARH15AACB.

Jerred, given the install of a Furrion 18K ducted cube with heat pump, can I reinstall the old GE ARH15AACB in the rear roof fan opening as ductiless on a 30 amp service. I'd like to not have to reset tripped breakers or to not run a separate 110 line to power the GE ARH15AACB. Understand the low amp required to start the install Furrion, will the 30 amp handle the 2 AC without overload the 30 amp service. I am reluctant to spend $300 - $400 for a soft start, If adding a softstart to the GE ARH15AACB is the only way to run both units without breaker issus, we'd rather add on a 2nd VS Furrion units.. Your best advise pleasel Ben L

Jerred - thank you for the information. My current GE RV AC/Heat pump is doing okay but we travel a great deal in the summer when temps often reach 95. I understand the variable speed compressor and the dehumidifier should increase the comfort. Also we travel in cold weather for short trips. On occasions the temp may drop to the high 20s and when it does we run our Suburban furnace to help the heat pump and protect our on board tanks. Will the new thermostat control the furance or will I need to leave the old GE thermostat in place to operate my furnace? Currently I have and option to use both the heat pump and furnace from the same panel. Thanks again. Ben
