Is Coleman-Mach Roughneck Mach 15 RV Air Conditioner System 12V

Updated 05/07/2026 | Published 04/30/2026

Question:

Im looking to do a custom install in a customers trailer. Looking for a 13.5K or 15k 115V ducted system. I prefer a Coleman Roughneck because of its rugged reputation. The trailer it will be installed in will see some off-road use, but majority of use will be highway. The only ones Im seeing are 12V. Can you help. Thank you.

Hey Mike, welcome back! The product page is incorrect, the Coleman-Mach Roughneck Mach 15 # CM85RR (black) and # CM75RR (white) are definitely not 12V. These are your standard 120V (115V) systems.

If an AC with that capacity was running efficiently off 12V it would be a really big deal. The thermostat will use 12V power but not the rooftop unit. Someone came across this earlier this week and I think we're waiting for the pages to be corrected.

These are exactly what you're looking for for your customers trailer. The same is true for the 13.5k # CM68RR. All of these Coleman-Mach models are 120V systems.

What kind of trailer are you working on?

Robin, Thanks for the info. Leaning heavily towards the CM68RR. Not to beat a dead horse, but want to make sure the CM68RR is 120v. Also, is the polished white something new? Most Coleman Mach's that have come in were a textured white. Has the polished white replaced the textured white? Is textured white is available, part#? Thanks. Mike

@MikeM that one is ductless so for ducted it would be # CM95RR. As far as I know they only have the polished white on the 13.5k units. The 15k # CM75RR is textured white. They're all 120V, still waiting on them to fix that on the pages, sorry for the confusion.
