I am looking for Qty ST175/80R13 tire only with the highest quality and highest speed rating for a cross country trip. Load C at a minumum but D or higher preferred. I see many that are only tire/rim combinations.

Welcome back Leo! The Karrier item # KE78KV is going to be the best ST175/80-13 tire for a long road trip. This is a load range D radial tire with a 1,650 lbs capacity. It has a top highway speed of 81 mph so you may need to slow down a bit.
The reason the Karrier item # KE78KV is the best tire for highway driving is because of the tread pattern. The 5-rib tread pattern is not only going to wear better but it also is going to provide better traction in wet or slippery conditions. You'll have far better grip than a general purpose radial and it's going to perform better than a bias ply.
