Question:
Is there a list of known compatible switches for this plunger? I have a Bright Way switch from the factory. Looks similar but Some confirmation for Fastway or etrailer would be appreciated. Prefer this to the universal setup as I can keep my current wire as a spare.

Hello Brady, thanks for reaching out. The Fastway Zip Coiled Trailer Breakaway Cable w/ Plunger Pin # FA80-01-2204 will work with breakaways from Fastway and Bargman. I don't have a complete list of all the part numbers but it should work with any breakaway from those brands.
The Bright Way kits actually use a slightly different pin so for that I'd recommend the Replacement Cable and Pin for Bright Way Trailer Breakaway Kits # 3802350 since it will be directly compatible.
What kind of trailer do you tow?

I ended up trying it in the Brightway and it works.

I can't confirm the pin's use in multiple applications, but the coiled lanyard is very helpful and convenient. It prevents the cable from hanging down and getting in the way of any trailer tongue/hitch hardware that could result in any binding circumstance that would cause the pin to pull out from the switch. I want a clean attachment of any trailer to my tow vehicle especially with a connection that could suddenly lock up my brakes should it deploy unexpectedly.
