Can the Fastway Zip Coiled Trailer Breakaway Cable # FA80-01-2204 be Used for a 5th Wheel

Question:
I was looking at using this cable for my 5th wheel hitch. I get concerned the existing cable will catch on the hitch or something else in the bed of the truck. Do you see any reason this would not be recommended for a fifth wheel?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Since the Fastway Zip Coiled Trailer Breakaway Cable # FA80-01-2204 is basically a universal fit I don't see any reason why you couldn't use it for a 5th wheel application.
