Question:
I’m looking at a motor replacement for my RV step. It’s a 2016 Thor with a one step. It hesitates and sometimes does not come out.. Is there a way to send him pictures.? I took some pictures of the numbers that I could see. Thank you.

On my 2017 Thor 34j it was rather simple to take the old motor out,the numbers for an exact replacement were on the old motor I removed, don’t waste your time with Amazon they sent me several motors each time telling me that’s the one I needed each time having to return it .Etrailer sent me the right one ( same numbers)the very first time and works great

I would first disconnect the arm's motor from the step, then manually cycle the step to ensure there's no issues with a bent pivot point, that's not involved with the motor drive. I'y rve hit and bent step parts that caused the steps to operate roughly and by no fault of the motor had erratic operation. If the steps have no issues than you can reasonably reassured a new step motor should address the problem. Remember, there are stops for the complete parked and extended cycle that you must ensure are adjusted. Good luck

This was any easy swap, matched up perfectly, no issues. Works great still two years later.
