Question:

Will this fit a 2019 Airstream Bambi?

Hey Frank! The BulletProof Hitches Extreme Duty Coupler Lock # BPH96VR is a universal lock that fits almost any coupler. It looks like the standard coupler on a 2019 Airstream Bambi is a 2-5/16" Demco EZ-Latch so the lock will be compatible.

Where do you usually park the Bambi?

Robin - thanks for the response. My concern is I purchased a universal lock on Amazon and it was too narrow and too short. This is my first trailer so I’m just getting into the scene and specifics. My Airstream is parked in my driveway, many times with my truck in front of it. However, when I’m away from home it’s vulnerable. And vulnerable when I’m camping too. If you’re positive it will fit, I’ll give it a try. Do you happen to a photo of it attached to an Airstream? Thanks again.

@FrankW does it have the black plastic Demco latch like the one in the picture on this page? If it does, it will definitely fit. If you have some other coupler go ahead and send me a picture and I'll take a look. We don't have a way to attach them here, so you can respond to the email with the link for this page and email me the picture.

It is the best trailer hitch anti theft device on the market. Excellent for airstream or expensive dump trailers!

I really like the tongue lock. My only complaint is the ball is only 2". I use it on a 2 5/16 tongue trailer. So far its been great. I would more impressed if they it with a 2 5/16 ball.

Any lock can be defeated, one way or another. But I feel very confident using this lock. I like that it’s heavy and thick. It should resist prying and beating. And it should take a lot of effort to cut. But I suppose it could be picked. No lock can stop someone that has enough time and tools, and that’s what they‘ll need to get this lock off. So, it’s best to have multiple locks. The more they have to defeat, the more likely they will leave it alone.

I have one of those locks and use it on a variety of trailers. It should work on your airstream. The lock is pretty straightforward and is designed to fit pretty much any trailer tongue.
