Question:
Hi, I bumper tow a 9000 travel trailer. I have tried using similar U-clamp anti rattle devices in the past but they all come loose by the end of my tow day. I dont get a lot of hitch rattle due to the heavy tongue weight but I still like having a solid connection between the receiver and hitch. Do you have any reviews on this particular anti rattle device when towing heavy loads?

Welcome back Dan! The Trimax Universal Anti-Rattle Clamp item # TMX66SR is extremely effective at adding stability when used with heavy setups. Since last years upgrade to wingnuts from standard nuts and the inclusion of lock washers we have not received any reviews about the clamp needing to be retightened.
The Universal Anti-Rattle Clamp item # TMX66SR is designed specifically for 2-1/2" receivers and 2-1/2" shanks. It will not work with 2-1/2" to 2" reducers.
What kind of trailer are you pulling?

I have used mine for a couple of years now, it has never loosened up on me and has worked perfectly.

Dan, I have a 2.5" receiver and tow a bumper pull equipment trailer with 16k + loads and I have not had any issues with this anti-rattle clamp. I did have to get rid of the wing nuts and use SS nuts to get it tight enough (and two more as lock nuts) but ever since then I have had no issues. In my mind the wingnuts are a downgrade, not an upgrade...

With the sleeve in my hitch used to get up and down movement on rough roads when pulling my 30 ft enclosed trailer now with the Trimax installed it stays nice and tight and makes a much better ride with what ever you are pulling. I have no complaints nice solid clamp.

This worked fine on my 20' work trailer. I did switch the wing nuts for some nylon lock nuts so they wouldn't loosen up or get vandalized. I tow almost every day, and it really makes a difference. No clunking or rattling. Feels rock solid. I would recommend to anyone towing. Mine is for the 2 1/2" receiver and I have a 6" drop.
