Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Trimax Universal Anti-Rattle Clamp for your Class 5 trailer hitch receiver. Now, this anti-rattle clamp is going to let you enjoy your ride without the soundtrack of a loose ball mount. So this is going to help silence that noise. It's gonna get rid of any rattles and vibrations. This is gonna be a universal fit.
This is going to work with all 2 1/2-inch ball mounts. So this is gonna be really a no-brainer for any setup. It's gonna be great for heavy-duty towing. I do wanna point out that the hitch receiver must have a ring or a collar around it for this clamp to attach. So you can see where this is going to attach to that collar.
Now, on your screen, I'm popping up just a brief snapshot of the instructions that are going to come with this. And so I just wanted to give you a brief demonstration of what this is actually going to look like when this is securing your ball mount to your trailer hitch receiver. And you can see there in the center where this clamp actually attaches to the collar of your trailer hitch receiver. So this is gonna be very easy to tighten. You're just going to hand tighten the nuts there to get this into place and to get it secured.
Very durable construction, steel. And this is going to keep your hitch firmly in place so you can be able to tow with confidence, and not with all that noise going on behind you. Now, if you decide this is going to be exactly what you need, we would love to hear back from you. So we would love to get a review from you on this product page. Let us know your experience with using this product and anything you'd like to share.
Also, we would love to see photos of your towing setup and see this in action as well. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
Very solidly built, and easy to install. Since installing, my hitch is totally rattle free.
The product did exactly what is was said to do . The product was solid really tightened the hitch highly recommended it
This anti rattle clam has worked perfectly, highly recommend.
This anti-rattle device works fine, but not using the wing nuts. I couldn’t get it tight enough without using pliers. When I get home from this trip I will get regular stainless nuts and all should be fine. I will have to remember to bring a socket and ratchet handle, but that’s no so bad.
It took out about 80 to 90 % of the rattle, very easy to install, however you need to remember to put the hitch through the clamp before you put it into the receiver or you have to take and put back on the wing nuts.
You really cannot go wrong with anything that Trimax makes. This anti-rattle clamp is one of the best I've ever used. Superior quality and it clamps down to the hitch and receiver so well that it completely eliminates all movement at the connection point. What's more, it did not loosen at all while I was hauling a loaded trailer.
Works as advertised! Stops the horrible clunking when stopping and starting that you get without it. Easy to install with a socket wrench and comes right off when needed with the same socket wrench. You actually only need to loosen to remove from receiver and you can leave it on the hitch during storage.
This is exactly what I wanted for my hitch! GREAT!
Wonderful

That's great to hear, Chris! That chucking is no joke sometimes. What are you usually towing?
