What is Max Drop of Shocker Air Equalizer for Weight Distribution Hitch

With the shocker hitch adjusted in its lowest setting at what point would the base of the ball be compared to the 2-in receiver shank with a Curt trunion style equalizer head???

Hey Dale, so the Shocker Hitch Adjustable Air Equalizer for Weight Distribution Hitch # SHK68VR that you referenced can do a max drop of 2 inches.

Most Curt WD systems like the part # C17501 can do a drop of right at 1/2 inch so they wouldn't be able to drop down as far as the Shocker. Which Curt WD system do you have?

@J With the standard Curt shank I'm adjusted as low as it goes and with a 1-in riser ball is just about right. I've just added the Moryde CRE 3000 equalizers which appear to have made the trailer about 1 inch higher. I've got a standard,1"riser, and a 2" riser ball. I'm actually expecting to need about one inch higher than currently so I think I'm pretty well covered and ready to go. Thank you ?????????????? Now I've got to decide between the Gen-Y or the shocker.LOL
