Can Gen-Y Hitch Torsion Ball Mount be Used with an Equal-i-Zer Weight Distribution System

I tow an Airstream Classic 30 with a F250 and an Equalizer WD hitch. The Gen-Y Torsion hitch looks interesting. Is it compatible with the Equalizer?

Expert Reply:
I verified with Gen-Y hitch that their torsion ball mounts, like part # 325-GH-1225, can be used with other manufacturer's weight distribution systems, however it isn't the best option.
Instead of one of the torsion ball mounts I recommend the Torsion Weight Distribution Shank, part # 325-GH-1202. It's designed specifically for weight distribution systems and will replace the shank on your Equal-i-zer.
