Question:
Hi, Im looking for a hitch for my wifes 2024 Kia Telluride X-pro. It has a tow switch button on the dash. Im planning on towing a newer pop up so id like 1 hitch, i like the etrailer brand one 2 wiring harness both 7pin and 4 pin 3 brake controller and anything else i might need. I plan to take it somewhere to have them install it. Im ok spending more on the parts if it makes sense. I might end up installing it myself but likely have it done at a shop. Can you provide me recommendations on what i should get to have her car ready to tow a 3500lb camper?

I sure can Thomas! To add a hitch, wiring, 7-way and 4-way wiring harness, and a brake controller to your 2024 Kia Telluride X-Pro you will need the following parts:
Hitch - etrailer item # e45ZR
4-Way - Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C29ZV
and
7-Way - Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller item # ETBC7
Mounting Bracket - No-Drill Bracket 7-Way Round Trailer Connector item # C57202
Brake Controller - Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness item # RED52VR
Ball Mount - 2" hitch ball item # e67DR or 2-5/16" hitch ball item # e27DR
I checked with our vendors and there is no plug and play 7-way wiring harness available for the 2024 Kia Telluride X-Pro. Which means you'll first need to install the 4-way item # C29ZV. It is custom fit for the models with LED lights and plugs directly into the factory wiring ports behind the rear tail lights.
The item # ETBC7 a pre-wired 7- and 4-way trailer connector that is designed for use on a vehicle with an existing 4-way flat trailer connector and plugs directly into it. You'll then need to run a power wire up to the battery and a brake controller wire into the cab.
The No-Drill Bracket item # item # C57202 will connect the bracket included with the item # ETBC7 will attach to the crosstube of the etrailer Hitch item # e45ZR and provide a secure and convenient mounting point for the 7-way/4-way connector.
The Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty item # RED52VR is a proportional brake controller that automatically adjusts your trailer's braking based on the deceleration of your Telluride. It has a unique installation method where the main unit is concealed behind your dash and the only part visible is the control knob. The included universal harness is all you'll need to complete the installation.
I've linked installation videos below that will show you how to get these parts installed. I recommend watching them to see if this is something you're comfortable taking on yourself.
