Is this part the same as Hellwig p/n 7306?

Hi Scott!

The Hellwig Adjustable Big Wig Rear Anti-Sway Bar - 1-1/4" Diameter # HE87FR we have listed for a 2014 to 2022 Ram 2500 is indeed the same as Hellwig's 7306 part number. That number was just the same (or very similar) to about 8 other parts we carry, so we gave it its own part number on our website.

Are you wanting to get rid of sway with a truck bed caper? Or just help handling in general?

Hi Lazer, cool name. This would be for a 2017 RAM 2500 with a Four wheel camper slide in model to help reduce sway.

@Scott I recently installed this sway bar and an Airlift 5000 Ultimate kit on my 2020 Ram 2500 for the same reason. I just completed the install so I haven’t had a chance to try everything with the camper yet, but I’ll share my impressions. The Hellwig bar is more stout than the stock unit, especially the end links. The installation was quick and easy and I can already feel a firmer presence when I test drove my truck on road with many downhill corners. I’m happy with the purchase and quality.

@Scott, I added the Hellwig before I even picked up the truck camper. It made all the difference in driving for eliminating the sway, and have it in the center position. Here's how I know it made a difference. I live in western NC so we have some curvy roads. My girlfriend was riding with me in Ram 2500 (without truck camper) and commented while we were on the backroads, "What did you do to the truck, it rides so much better in the curves". I do have Timbrens and Bilstein shocks also plus 10 ply tires. Goal was set the truck up for hauling the TC with no issues.
