Question:
Have a 2014 Ram 2500 4x4 diesel, stock heightno lift. Use to haul a cabover camper but also as a daily driver. What is the recommended rear sway bar to use by Hellwig. 1 1/4inch or 1 1/8inch and why use link kit vs stock links?

Expert Reply:
Hey Shawn. The 1-1/8" Diameter Hellwig Sway Bar item # HE73GR is going to reuse the factory end links on your 2014 Ram 2500 and is designed as a simple replacement for the stock sway bar.
I recommend installing the thicker 1-1/4" Diameter Hellwig Sway Bar item # HE87FR on your Ram 2500. It is designed for the stock height and has upgraded end links that replace the factory ones. The factory ones aren't strong enough for the thicker sway bar.
What kind of camper do you have?

Hey Shawn, how did the 1-1/4-inch Hellwig sway bar work out on your Ram 2500 when hauling your cabover camper? It’d be great to hear if the upgraded end links made a noticeable difference in stability. Your update could make it easier for others setting up a similar truck and camper combo.
