The 1-5/16" Hellwig Adjustable Big Wig Rear Anti-Sway Bars are designed for 2WD # HE97MR or 4WD # HE94FR versions of your 2021 Ford F-250. These are both designed for trucks which have a stock ride height. Hellwig does offer their 2" Lift # HE66YR or 4" Lift # HE76YR versions but these are the smaller 1-1/8" diameter. Do note the lift heights are for the rear lift so be sure to verify how much rear lift your particular lift kit has since it may not be the same as the front which is typically the advertised amount for most lift kits.

Bud, I have a stock height F250 that I use with my cabover camper. I plan on getting the Hellwig 1 5/16" rear anti-sway bar. If I lift this truck in the future, can I simply add the Hellwig mounts compatible with the lift height I get, or will I have to replace the bar entirely with the 1 1/8" version? Thanks.

@NathanA Hey Nathan. Hellwig’s 1-5/16" Big Wig rear sway bar for a stock height F250 cannot be adapted to a lifted truck with different mounts, since the bar’s shape and geometry are designed specifically for stock ride height. If you lift the truck in the future, you would need to replace the entire bar with Hellwig’s lift specific 1-1/8" version that matches your new rear lift height, rather than reusing the 1-5/16" bar with alternate brackets.

@JesseM Thank you for the reply. What is the difference in performance If I were to put the 1 1/8" sway bar on now, then, add the extensions later when I lift it?

@Nathan Both bars will perform well, but the larger 1-5/16" bar provides better roll control because of its increased stiffness and diameter. The 1-1/8" version is designed for lifted applications, so it will work if you plan on adding rear lift extensions later, but you will give up some performance compared to the Big Wig on a stock height truck. If it were me, I would finalize your lift plans first and then choose the sway bar that matches your long term setup so you get the best results without having to compromise or swap parts later.
